best fluffy french toast sticks recipe

I invited a couple of my favorite peeps for brunch one day and discovered this french toast recipe on the Internet…let me tell YOU! This is my go-to french toast forever and always.

I always did the typical: scramble your eggs, maybe a splash of milk, a pinch of cinnamon, dip the slice of bread on both sides and add to a buttered pan. Stop doing that if you’re the “old me”.

Even for myself, I like making my plates look pretty. Here’s a similar rectangular serving tray I found on Amazon. Syrup dipping cups as well!

This recipe is NOT mine. I found it a while back and wrote it down in a small notebook. Unfortunately, I do not have the original post.

French Toast Sticks (6 slices)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/8 cup of flour

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1/2 vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tablespoon of sugar

Mix all together in a bowl large enough to dip each side of your slice of bread.

Add a bit of butter to your warm pan and cook until brown.

After removing from pan, cut up your desired slices and serve with syrup and powdered sugar if you like! Omg my mouth is watering as I write.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
