fall season in fall-less Colombia

Simply put, there is only one season here in the city of Medellin. They call it the “city of eternal spring” for a reason. The perfect weather year round. Warm during the day, rainy at night during the colder months. But it’s NEVER cold. Although that sounds pleasing, for a Seattle born girl, you learn to miss the four seasons when they’re gone.

So to cozy-up my home during this Fall and Halloween season, I brought out the few things that made it into my suitcases. Watching Instagram stories with fall ootd’s, warm drinks and sidewalks covered in maple leaves is really giving me the blues.

I really tried my best with what I had to make this as cozy as I could. Thanks Pinterest!

Thankfully my mom gifted me these adorable, and super spooky, pumpkin string lights, so they were the perfect addition to my entry console table. And I couldn’t NOT use my letter board to make it obvious what time of year it was for my guests.

Home Goods is pretty much the bomb dot com for cute AND affordable kitchen decor, am I right? If only a Pumpkin Spice Latte could magically create itself from my pumpkin coffee ground holder. JK I’ve never even tried a PSL… I have to see if Starbuck’s has it here where I live.

Oh, and faux plants in the kitchen because bugs. :)
